The Twins Poster Mystery

∆ Can anyone with a Blu-Ray or Hi Def copy of The Shining get a better look at the poster above The Twins’ heads? Is it a cattle skull? The Thoth Tarot Lovers card? The alchemical egg? Another stargate?

∆ starwarsverses writes in:
I can make out some of the wording on the Blu-ray, although it’s copy protected so I can’t get any screenshots. Along the bottom it says DENVER 1922 COLORADO. One year after the July 4th Ball? It looks mildly horrifying for a tourism poster, and symmetry/asymmetry is definitely an element, which I assume would be the reason why it’s hanging above the ‘twins’. Will have to investigate further!
∆ kdk12 responds:
A search for “Denver 1922” brings up references to The Denver Mint, which produced silver dollar “Peace Coins” that year (pictured below) and was famously robbed that year. The rectangle in the center of The Shining poster could be the Mint.
∆ Two sides of the same coin.

∆ Heads.

∆ Tails.

∆ Out of many, one.

∆ Lady Liberty … Libby’s Libby’s Libby’s

∆ Here’s a different screenshot taken from the prisonplanetforum message board.

Sorry about all the messages, not sure if Tumblr is eating my posts. Basically all I can make out is that the poster reads DENVER 1922 COLORADO along the bottom.
